Official source for Safari WebRTC support missing?

I've been unable to find an official/credible source establishing the status of WebRTC-support on Safari 11.

Other sources seem to provide competing information. For instance, this report-card shows WebRTC not having any support in Safari,, while caniuse.com claims support for RTCPeerConnection, and MDN says "Status unknown". The WebKit announcement blog post does (as far as I can tell) not provide any detailed information on what components of WebRTC are supported.

Is there any sort of official or credible statement, article, document, or other type of source reliably detailing the support for WebRTC in Safari? In my specific case, I would like to know more about the support of RTCDataChannels. It feels like I'm missing something crucial and/or obvious 🙂

Hello wanecek,

Including links will get your post moderated and delayed - apparently by two weeks.

I just did a Google search for "RTCDataChannels webkit" and the first hit titled "A Closer Look Into WebRTC | WebKit" dated July 3rd, 2017 seems to have the information you are looking for.
