Tapping Take Photo reloads Image Playground sheet on iOS
I integrated the image playground sheet in my app, however when I select Take Photo on the iOS version of my app it just reloads the sheet. After several attempts I get the below error message. This issue doesn’t occur on the macOS version of my app, where it first requests camera permission before allowing me to take the photo. I’m not sure if this is happening because I don’t request the camera permission anywhere in my app. My app doesn’t use the camera at all apart from the Take Photo feature which is part of the image playground sheet. How to test for VisualIntelligence available on device?
I'm adding Visual Intelligence support to my app, and now want to add a Tip using TipKit to guide users to this feature from within my app. I want to add a Rule to my Tip which will only show this Tip on devices where Visual Intelligence is supported (ex. not iPhone 14 Pro Max). What is the best way for me to determine availability to set this TipKit rule? Here's the documentation I'm following for Visual Intelligence: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/visualintelligence/integrating-your-app-with-visual-intelligence

Block Apple Intelligence
Hi everyone, Could someone confirm if it's currently possible, or if there are any plans, to restrict users from enabling Apple Intelligence altogether? I understand that we can block individual features using MDM, but I'm interested in knowing if we can prevent users from toggling Apple Intelligence on and off in System Settings entirely. Thanks! Kind Regards, Filipe Nogueira

Do App Intent Domains work with Siri already?
Hi, guys. I'm writing about Apple Intelligence and I reached the point I have to explain App Intent Domains https://developer.apple.com/documentation/AppIntents/app-intent-domains but I noticed that there is a note explaining that these services are not available with Siri. I tried the example provided by Apple at https://developer.apple.com/documentation/AppIntents/making-your-app-s-functionality-available-to-siri and I can only make the intents work from the Shortcuts App, but not from Siri. Is this correct. App Intent Domains are still not available with Siri? Thanks

Genmoji API — are local edits and non-text usage (e.g., widgets) allowed?
Hi, I'm integrating the Genmoji API (NSAdaptiveImageGlyph) into my app and would like to confirm two things: Local editing of generated Genmoji. After the user creates a Genmoji, can the app apply edits to the resulting image (e.g., pixelation)? The edited image would be stored only on-device within the app and never shared externally. Use outside text contexts. Can a generated Genmoji be used in other parts of the app, such as a home screen widget? Apple's documentation and the WWDC24 session focus on inline text, stickers, and Tapbacks, but I couldn't find explicit guidance on widget or other UI usage. I checked the Human Interface Guidelines, WWDC24 session "Bring expression to your app with Genmoji," and the App Store Review Guidelines, but couldn't find clear answers. Any guidance or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Siri AI - waitlist
i have been on the waitlist since the release , I have asked many of my friends and they got it at very different times , who got it in hours who in days , and then there's me , a whole week of waiting for nothing , as a developer this is affecting my workflow but there's nothing more to do than reporting it to apple via the feedback app. the thing that makes us all anxious its not being able to see our position in line if there even is one because users reported that who downloaded and joined the waitlist later got it sooner than someone who installed iOS 27 and joined the waitlist before . AS OF RIGHT NOW I NOTICED A PATTERN. NEWER DEVICES THAT FINISH THE INDEXING FASTER GET THRU THE WAITLIST , while others like iPhone 15 pro and iPad m1 GET TO WAIT EVEN IF THE INDEXING IS FINISHED . what can we do other than wait , is there any way of KNOWING YOUR CURRENT STATE IN WAITING IN LINE.

Accessibility & Inclusion
We are developing Apple AI for foreign markets and adapting it for iPhone models 17 and above. When the system language and Siri language are not the same—for example, if the system is in English and Siri is in Chinese—it can cause a situation where Apple AI cannot be used. So, may I ask if there are any other reasons that could cause Apple AI to be unavailable within the app, even if it has been enabled?

iOS 27 ImagePlaygroundViewController.Delegate not working?
In the WWDC 2026 sessions it was called out in code that the helper functions would still work, however they don't seem to be working either inside a UIViewRepresentable, nor as a UIKit View as below (also tried as a sheet, to no avail). Otherwise it works. Is there something else I'm missing? import SwiftUI import ImagePlayground @available(iOS 27.0, *) final class ImagePlaygroundPopupController: UIViewController { var sourceImage: UIImage var prompt: String var onComplete: (URL) -> Void var onCancel: () -> Void private var didPresent = false private var playgroundVC: ImagePlaygroundViewController? init( sourceImage: UIImage, prompt: String, onComplete: @escaping (URL) -> Void, onCancel: @escaping () -> Void ) { self.sourceImage = sourceImage self.prompt = prompt self.onComplete = onComplete self.onCancel = onCancel super.init(nibName: nil, bundle: nil) view.backgroundColor = .clear } required init?(coder: NSCoder) { fatalError("init(coder:) has not been implemented") } override func viewDidAppear(_ animated: Bool) { super.viewDidAppear(animated) guard !didPresent else { return } didPresent = true let vc = ImagePlaygroundViewController() vc.sourceImage = sourceImage vc.concepts = [.text(prompt)] vc.delegate = self playgroundVC = vc present(vc, animated: true) } } @available(iOS 27.0, *) extension ImagePlaygroundPopupController: ImagePlaygroundViewController.Delegate { func imagePlaygroundViewController( _ imagePlaygroundViewController: ImagePlaygroundViewController, didCreateImageAt imageURL: URL ) { imagePlaygroundViewController.dismiss(animated: true) { self.playgroundVC = nil self.onComplete(imageURL) } } func imagePlaygroundViewControllerDidCancel( _ imagePlaygroundViewController: ImagePlaygroundViewController ) { imagePlaygroundViewController.dismiss(animated: true) { self.playgroundVC = nil self.onCancel() } } } @available(iOS 27.0, *) struct ImagePlaygroundPopupView: UIViewControllerRepresentable { let sourceImage: UIImage let prompt: String let onComplete: (URL) -> Void let onCancel: () -> Void func makeUIViewController(context: Context) -> ImagePlaygroundPopupController { ImagePlaygroundPopupController( sourceImage: sourceImage, prompt: prompt, onComplete: onComplete, onCancel: onCancel ) } func updateUIViewController( _ uiViewController: ImagePlaygroundPopupController, context: Context ) {} }

New Siri Waitlist not activating on iPhone/iPad after 4 days — macOS workaround works but not syncing
Hi, I joined the New Siri waitlist on June 8 (the day of WWDC 2026) and as of June 12, I have still not been granted access on iPhone or iPad — that's 4 days with no activation. I used the Terminal workaround on macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta (EnhancedSiriWaitlist → Enabled = NO), which successfully activated New Siri on my Mac. However, it has not synced to my other devices despite being on the same Apple ID with iCloud Siri sync enabled. Device details: Mac mini (macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta) — New Siri active ✓ iPhone (iOS 27.0 Developer Beta 1) — Joined Waitlist since June 8 iPad (iPadOS 27.0 Developer Beta 1) — Joined Waitlist since June 8 Steps already attempted: Multiple restarts on iPhone and iPad Toggled iCloud Siri sync off/on Toggled Siri off/on multiple times iCloud storage sufficient (200GB plan, 53GB used) 4 days seems far beyond normal rollout time. Is this a known issue? Is there anything on the account side that could be blocking activation? Thank you.

Can Writing Tools be accessed In UITableView contextMenu?
I’m currently developing an app that features a main view with a UITableView. When users select a row, they are navigated to a detail view that contains a UITextField. This UITextField already supports Writing Tools. My question is: When a user long-presses a UITableView cell, is it possible to add a Writing Tools option to the Context Menu, allowing users to interact with the Writing Tools more conveniently?like Summary detail text
