Hi, We have our devices listed in Apple Business Manager but they are not enrolled in MDM. Some of the devices are locked in Activation Lock screen as employees logged in with their personal account . Since devices are company owned and already available in ABM is there any way to remove activation lock easily without providing proof of purchase to apple? In order to prevent devices getting into activation lock in future the only way is to Enroll the device in a MDM? Are there anyways to bypass activation lock if we are not using MDM

We currently have an Enterprise Developer account and find it a challenge to manage devices, profiles, and so on in an automated fashion. I am curious to understand if an API interface, similar to App Store Connect API is available - for Enterprise. There is no option in the Enterprise 'Users and Access' tab to manage or create API keys, like there is in a regular Apple Developer Account. An API would greatly simplify much of our processes. We currently use Fastlane Spaceship to manage automated/scripted tasks around this, like adding new devices, adding devices to profiles, and so on. We manage in the order of 70 provisioning profiles, so, it may be appreciated that adding even one device to that many profiles is not something you want do manually via the web interface - you script it - so we use Fastlane. The issue is that Fastlane Spaceship uses a 'workround' that basically emulates a user web session, and so requires re-authentication when user session expires, and also requires re-authentication by 2FA when AppleID session expires each month. This is no good for scripted automation on a server, as user interaction is then required. So, I guess this is a request, or an insight as to whether or not API functionality, via API keys is coming soon to Enterprise, or never coming, or if there is some other mechanism we can use - or do we just stick with fastlane? We have looked at Custom Apps, but don't think that fits our needs, as the apps we build hit internal test systems, which are not publicly accessible, and so not available for App Store review teams, as our understanding is that Custom apps must still pass App Store review and TestFlight review. My organization currently has an Enterprise account that we've been using for awhile. We now have an app that needs to be released to the public App Store, so need a regular Developer Account. This account should be tied to our organization, not to a specific person (just like our enterprise account). Is there a way to add the developer account to our existing enterprise account? Or does it need to be a new account? And if it's a new account, how do we get it tied to the same organization and manager (we have a person authorized to manage this stuff, but he's already the account holder on our enterprise account).

We are considering developing our own MDM server for internal app distribution. Is it necessary to enroll in the Apple Enterprise Developer Program to develop MDM server? Currently, our company is only enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and Business Manager. Additionally, since we have fewer than 100 employees, it is difficult for us to join the Enterprise Program. In this case, is it not possible for us to set up an MDM server?

Cx was unable to login to their cloud account when the policy was pushed on to their device. However, when no policy was pushed cx could login. The issue is with applying whitelist configuration to device with passcode turned on..while whitelisting the app some system bundle identifier is getting blocked, we tried whitelisting all system app available for ios and couldn't find a solution

Hi all , We are planning to manage about 1 Million+ Apple devices of inclusive of both iPhone and Mac devices under a AxM Account. However while adding VPP Licenses for an App i'm prompted with below error: " You cannot order more than 100000 copies of same the free item per week" While our goal is to manage 1 Million devices under same Location token , i have below questions in mind 1 . What is the upper limit of number of Licenses that can be added per app in a Location token? Currently it says 1 Lakh Licenses per app per week . Wanted to know if there is any limit on this count as it shouldn't surprise us in upcoming weeks. 2 . How many Locations can be created in a AxM Account? Currently we created about 15 location to see if there are any limit but so far couldn't find any limit on number of locations that can be created. This limit could help us plan our deployment in advance 3 . What is the total number of licenses a VPP Location token can hold ? As we manage 1 Million Devices for 12 Apps , 1 Million x 12= 12 Million licenses would be transacted in this location token by our MDM Solution , is this okay or will there be any limitations in this count

In order to test an iPhone app I am developing on my mac on an actual device, I connected my iPhone to my mac with a wired connection and installed the app, but got an error message saying “Uneble to verify app”. I went to Settings -> General -> VPN and Device Management -> the app in question in ENTERPRISE APP -> Verify App -> Verify, but no matter how many times I tap on it, the status of the app remains “Not verified”. If anyone has a solution to this problem, we would appreciate it if you could help us.

I am responsible on behalf of my employer, Strathcona Resources, to submit this Apple Developer enrollment to advance in a custom app that we must implement to our iPads in our field sites. As you can probably tell, I have not received any advancement with this request, and seven months have passed, without any update or any notification regarding this enrollment. I would appreciate it if you can please channel this request to the appropriate party, in order to provide a status update, escalation, and completion as appropriate. I'm trying to complete my Apple Developer Program Order. I'm unable to enter the CVV field of my VISA Card. There are no field for this. You can see the screenshot. I can just enter the card number. So that cause my payment failed every time I try. I try to complete my apple developper program order with my visa card. I expected to be able to enter both the VISA card number and the CVV code for order completion.

I had tried to enroll 7 years ago with an account that has been deleted meanwhile. I used my id and and went through all the procedures. The fact that after 1 week of trying to pay for the program didn't go through I just deleted the account. Now I really need to have a developer account associated with my company. What can I do to get make it? Shouldn't deleting my account result also in deleting my information about the government issued id?

My apple Account having Two active 'iOS Distribution' now Both are expected to Expire in next ~20 day's. Below are my queries looking for the details. a) can we create the new (third) iOS Distribution certificate for the build distribution ? b) how can we identified the current Active application provisioning profiles are boing with which iOS Distribution certificate (as under the Profile details showing two certificate having the same date) , so not able ti identified which certificate currently is in use?

Hello Everyone, Please if you can assist me with the query I have regarding on how I can distribute my custom app to more than 100 iPads. I have a custom developed IOS App supplied by a vendor where I sign the app with my Apple Enterprise Certificate and Provisioning Profile and distribute to a group of iPads within my organization through a MDM. With the plan I am on with Apple Enterprise Program - it only allows me to register a maximum of 100 iPads. However I now need to distribute this app to around 200 iPads. Please assist with information on how I can increase my device count to more than 100. Thanks Kavitesh

I have enabled 2 factor authentication Tried from the web Tried directly from the Apple Developer App (button shows disabled) Also, Phone Support is currently unavailable. I am not able to remove the Activation Lock through MDM. I enabled the activation lock via https://mdmenrollment.apple.com/device/activationlock My device is listed in the ABM portal and i used the provided snippet here to generate the bypass code. I am getting the SUCCESS response of the above API and the activation lock also got enabled. But while removing the above activation lock via https://deviceservices-external.apple.com/deviceservicesworkers/escrowKeyUnlock and using the same escrow key that I used in the above api while activating the lock. I got the following error everytime <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><ns:escrowKeyDeviceServicesResponse version="1" xmlns:ns="http://www.apple.com/cds/mdmescrowKeyDeviceServices/xml"><error code="1002" message="com.apple.cds.cyclops.mdm.MDMServiceException: Escrow key mismatch"/></ns:escrowKeyDeviceServicesResponse> Though this API of clearing the activation lock works perfectly fine when I enable the user-initiated activation lock, by enabling the Find My in the device. And use the bypass code as escrow_key that we receive from the device via device querry command.
