How to participate in Q&As
Connect with Apple evangelists, engineers, and designers to get your questions answered, share your learnings, and engage with the worldwide developer community. Learn how to join the conversation.

Register for topics
We’re excited to talk with you in text-based group chats in Slack. Registration is open to members of the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program. You can sign in to register for Q&A topics on the web or in the Apple Developer app. Once you register for a topic, you’ll gain access to all Slack channels related to that topic. A variety of Q&As will take place within each channel.
Registration is closed.

Best practices
Due to the volume of questions, we may not be able to answer every submission. When asking questions, here are a few best practices to keep in mind:
- Q&As focus on specific topics (SwiftUI, Xcode, Live Activities) within a broader area (UI Frameworks, Developer Tools, Design) and are staffed by the experts for those topics. Submit question that directly relate to the Q&A topic so that we’ll have the right person available to answer it. If you’re not sure where to ask your question, ask #help-desk for a recommendation.
- Check the schedule to make sure the Q&A you’re submitting a question for hasn’t happened yet. If the Q&A is over, we may no longer have the right person available to answer your question in that channel.
- While we appreciate the interest in Apple’s future plans and products, we won’t be responding to questions on those topics.
We look forward to reading your questions!
Enter the chat
Q&As start December 12 at 9 a.m. (Pacific Time) and continue through December 16. During each scheduled Q&A, we’ll provide answers to selected questions. You can also continue sending in questions and reply to answered questions during the chat. Once a Q&A is over, it will remain available for browsing. Switch channels at any time from the Slack sidebar.
Highlights in other languages
In addition to English-based chats, we’ll highlight key discussions in Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese in three dedicated channels throughout the week. You’ll also be able to ask questions and chat with Apple experts and other developers in these languages.
Support
If you need assistance, visit the Help Desk channel. To raise a concern about a specific post during a Q&A, use the post’s “Flag this message” option to alert the moderation team.
