Ordered the Dev Kit - How do I know if I get the Vive discount?

In Vive's shopping cart right underneath the product image, there's a link calld "Have a Promotion code? Enter it here." You can copy and paste the promo code from your email and the total will be lowered by $100. If you've already made the purchase, maybe you can call Vive and ask them to apply the code for you?

What about France ? I was charged 740 € for the kit (exc. tax), have ordered it on june 6th, and no code at all 😟

Is there any chance to lower this shameful conversion rate by a coupon ? Or will we pay twice again ?

I recieved an email with a promo code today but when I enter it on the HTC web-site, the price stays unchanged 😕

Is there a precise phone number I can call about getting a new promo code?

I had sent HTC an email & their reply was that I need a new promo code issued from Apple.

"In this case, I am afraid that HTC itself is not the sponsor for the promotion you are talking about and the Coupon Codes that people are getting, don't come from us as well, what you have to do is that you have to contact Apple again and request a new Coupon Code so you can place the Order for the VIVE, we wish there was more that we could do for you in regards to this matter, but it is out of our hands, we hope that you understand."

I too have been given the run around by HTC. I received an email shortly after purchasing the Dev Kit, got my code, and tried entering it on vive.com.

The page basically refreshes without throwing any error codes or applying any discount.

Started a chat with HTC, they told me to go to Apple to get a new code.

Called general Apple support line, they told me to go to developer line.

Called developer line and then was escalated to a manager, and they don't have the resources to issue any new codes, but are looking into it.

Went back to HTC and told them I couldn't get a new code. They wouldn't help me.

Going to try Digital River now, but it's not looking good. Maybe I can just get a credit for the value of the coupon?

I'm fairly certain no one has had success with this.

I also never recieved a promo code. No email, no code in the box. Dang, I woulda just ordered the vive right away if Apple didn't con me into thinking there was a code. Now I gotta wait another week. Apple just DP'ed me.

I received the code, but as others have stated, it's not working on the vive.com website. What should I do, who do I need to call?

It's nearly September and Apple is still stating that the kit includes a promotional credit, when it does not actually work. I got Developer tech support to send me a form letter stating that "the item has sold out", but when I asked WHAT sold out, and clarified that I already purchased the kit, they just copy-pasted the same form letter back to me again.
