I wanted to share a solution that worked for me after struggling to transfer my app because of TestFlight-related issues.
If you’re unable to transfer your app and it seems related to TestFlight metadata, here’s what I did:
Go to the TestFlight tab of your app.
Navigate to the “Test Information” section under Additional Information.
In that section, delete all the text, including fields in Beta App Review Information --> Contact Information that are marked as required:
• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone Number
• Email
Even though these fields appear to be mandatory, I replaced their content with just a space character. After that, I resolved any minor validation issues (in my case, there was an email format warning), clicked Save, and it worked.
Once those fields were “emptied” (with just a space), the Transfer App option became available, and I was able to proceed without any more blockers.
