On iOS 13 GM Seed and iPadOS beta 8, a lightning-based MFI accessory that our app has integrated with for many years is not functioning properly. It connects but then immediately disconnects.We are in contact with the hardware manufacturer, but is there anything we can do in software to better debug, or are there ExternalAccessory framework changes in iOS 13 that require us to interact with the hardware differently?Our usage is very straightforward, we use EAAccessoryManager to respond to EAAccessoryDidConnectNotification, when the device conforms to the supported protocol we set up an EASession. This code is largely unchanged since 2010 when we first integrated with hardware using the 30-pin dock connector.What we're seeing is just a couple seconds after setting up the EASession we receive accessoryDidDisconnect: to the session delegate.Here's some relevant log files. If I have installed ipados beta 13.1 in my ipad, when the public version will be released for everyone on 30th september I will be able to downgrade from ipados 13.1 beta to ipados 13.0 final without any data loss?Infact I actually don't know if 13.1 version itunes beckup will be compatible with 13.0 release.

When performing a segue with a modal style to a print settings page and then presenting a UIPrintInteractionController, the modal dialog shrinks to being extremely short.Prior to iPadOS 13, this behavior worked just fine and didn't adjust the height of the modal, but with iPadOS 13, this seems bugged.Has the behavior changed or is this in fact, a bug?

Is iPadOS release on Sep30 ship with version 13.1?Because from the offical update:iOS 13 will be available on September 19 as a free software update for iPhone 6s and later. Additional software features will be available on September 30 with iOS 13.1.And iPadOS will be release on the same day at Sep 30.So I want to make sure iPadOS is release with 13.0 or 13.1.Thank you very much.

I recently installed iPadOS 13.1 Beta 3 on my iPad. I've updated my apps for iOS / iPadOS and they are running fine. However I'm seeing a weird behaviour on the iPad device -After launching and then exiting my app, it obviously appears in the Recents section on the Dock. Tapping the app icon on the Dock does NOT re-launch the app. In fact nothing happens when I tap on the app icon in the Dock. However if I tap on the app icon on the main screen of the iPad, then it launches just fine with no issues.This is only happening with my apps built against Xcode GM Seed, and on the device. The system apps like Settings, Safari etc launch perfectly fine from the Dock. Furthermore, my apps launch fine from the Dock on the Simulator. Its only on the device that they fail to launch from the Dock.Any suggestions or explanations why this is happening?

iPadOS 13 beta 8UIPrinterInteractionController presents as a dismissible page sheet, with no option analagous to UIViewController's modalInPresentation property, nor it seems any way to set a different UIModalPresentationStyle value.In iOS 13, page sheets can be dismissed by flicking them off the screen.When the AirPrint page is flicked off the screen, the underlying app no longer responds to any input and has to be closed to recover.Filed as FB7287401.

Hello everyone!I have a question about the new iOS/iPadOS reminders app. When you first start it up, your asked to upgrade the reminder app to the new format, at this time I did not know the iPhone 6 would not be supported by iOS/iPadOS 13 so my reminders will no longer by sync across devices.I was wondering if there was a way to go back / downgrade to the original format (like it would have work within iOS13 before I agreedd to upgrade to the new format or am I stuck with not being able to sync across devices.I tried re-installing the app and doing a clean install of the beta with no luck.Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a great day.Shizu.

Hi,I currently have a subclass of UIDocumentBrowserViewController as the root controller of my application with multiple window support enabled on ipadOS. Everything seems to work fine when I manually create a new window.But when I drag a supported document from the browser to the side nothing happens. I have a UIDocument subclass, should this subclass contain some specific information in order to support opening a new window when dragging to the side?Any ideas?FYI State restoration works perfectly with the create NSUserActivity.
