There was an error importing this build

Hello,

I've been trying to solve a cryptic message on Itunes Connect for the past 24 hours.

Every build I'm trying to upload gets this error message after processing.

I've tried 2 different apps and both get the same result.

Searching for resolutions of this error pretty much signifies it's an Apple side problem whereas me as a developer can't really do much to solve it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello, I'm getting the same error too. I tried 10 times and I still get "There was an error importing this build" in iTunes Connect...

I’m having the same issue, tried uploading via Application Loader, disabled bitcode but didn’t work either.

Same problem. Tried 4 times now with the same result.

Experiencing same issue since April 26.

I tried to upload a build with Xcode Organizer, with Application Loader and from Terminal: same error for all uploaded builds - "There was an error importing this build"

Same problem here, tried 3 times and still no luck 😟

Also having the same problem. Started April 26. Still trying to figure it out.

Hey all,

The problem was fixed for me now.

I have no idea if it's related but I've noticed 2 new plist files with no configuration data that were added somehow.

I deleted them and the build was processed.

Again, no real idea if that was the cause as it happened to me with another app as well.

By "no configuration data" you mean empty file?

I had the same issue. I tried to upload the app again today and it succeed. the only change that i did was "pod update". those are the pods that I have

It's working for us too, without any change in the build.

Apperently it was Apple problem. The same thing happend to me and now all my previous build has completed processing.

Currently by today 16 May i experience the same issue, I have no idea what's wrong, i try to build previous version with bumped build number also giving me same result. any advice?

Same problem as well
