Do app names with symbols show in App Store search?

Hi,

We're about to rename our app on the App Store to a name with a '+' on the end (e.g. Name+).

My question is, will this plus symbol register in the same way as any other character or will it damage our app ranking?

We can use 'NamePlus' instead, but the plus symbol is fairly integral in our brand and ideally we'd like to use it.

Has anyone seen other apps that use symbols in their names without problem? I noticed the App Store will allow me to use the name, so I'm hoping I'm just overthinking and that it won't be a problem.

Seems common in the store - example: 18+

...do your own store searches to confirm.

As for ranking, be aware that a name change may reset that app's rank in whatever countries it is sold in, so...
