chrome checkbox desappear

I found a workaround so that the tickboxes reappear, or at least the workaround solved it for me.

In Chrome, hit cmd plus "+" or from the menu, "Zoom in". You only need to zoom in once. The checkboxes then reappear.

Yes. They only disappear at 100% zoom level. If you go down to 90% or up to 110% they reappear.

Still having the same problem even after the latest beta (18A365a). The "zoom" workaround is awkward.

I also noticed anomalies with text-box entries, working with Chrome in Mojave, But I didn't write them down as they occurred, so I can't report them exactly. In those cases too, Safari handled the issues well.

If Safari offered the additional services that Chrome does, and wasn't so visually boring (to the point where I can't pick out one password from another), I'd be a regular Safari user. What's so hard about ditching outdated ultra-modernity?
