I have a Mac running 10.14 Beta (18A293u). It is a late 2012, Intel Core i5 with 8gigs of ram. Like most people I was eager to try Mojave and I installed the beta profile which I am currently running on this Mac. It appears the Mac seems to perform better with High Sierra. I am finding a lot of hestation and beach ball spinning just to switch between applications or if I open a new application. After I upgraded to Mojave, I upgrade Office 2011 to 2016 and I discovered that Word crashes all the time. I am finding out that Mojave is not stable and Office 2016 is not stable either.
Since I am running into stability problems, I want to downgrade to High Sierra without losing anything. Obviously, I can wipe and install a fresh copy of High Sierra but I don't want to do that. I know that I can Time Machine it.
What is the best way to downgrade to High Sierra?
