iOS12 Beta 3 Screen Time Crashes

Hi

I installed iOS Beta 3 on my iPhone X last night, I was able to access Screen Time for the first few times. Now I cant access Screen Time, it crashes every time. I go to Settings, select Screen Time then my screen just goes completely black and then returns to the Home Screen :-(

Anyone else getting this on an iPhone X?

Thanks

Barry

Yes, same issue on my iPhone X. It originally worked after installing beta 3, but now crashes every time I select the option in Settings. Screen Time is working currently on my iPad Pro, though.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, I'd reported the issue to Apple. I think the issue only seems to effect the iPhone X :-( Hopefully it will be fixed in iOS 12 Beta 4.

Thanks

Barry

I have the Public Beta 2 and experiencing the same issue. I had my sons phone in there with parental controls. Now I cant access it at all just quits. iPhone 7 plus and also on my iPad 2018.

I had the same issue on my 6s on iOS 12 beta 3. I erased all content and restored an iCloud backup. Screen Time is working again.

I'm having the same issues with my iPhone 7 plus, when I go to turn it on, it crashes quickly... I really need help, I don't know if anyone fixed the problem yet, if so please let me know.

Thanks

Měl jsem stejný problém na svém iPhone X na iOS 12 beta 3.I smazal iOS12 beta3 přeinstalovaný ze zálohy a čas na obrazovce na iPhone X je working.

Hello,

I have the ios12 Beta on the iphone 7s. Is there a beta 3 ready for download? Should I do it or just keep the ios 12 beta?

I think you are confusing versions of the public beta vs. the developer beta, the developer beta is on version 3 which is essetially the same version as the public beta version 2, so the answer to your question is...developer version 3 is/was current, and public version 2 is current. so assuming you are on version 2 of the public beta, the answer is no, there is no version 3 for you to download at this time.

Hi

Glad youve found a fix to get it working on your iPhone 6S. I don't want to do an Erase and Restore just yet. Hopefully it will get fixed in iOS 12 Beta 4.

I hope everyone on here that has the issue has been reporting it to Apple :-)

Thanks

Barry

Hi, BarryMcKelvey.

You're not alone.

I'm also facing the same issue on my iPhone 8.

It's running on iOS 12 Beta 3.

This started happening after I went into the settings to disable the option to uninstall apps.

After that, it just kept force closing.

I've already sent feedback to Apple about this as I've noticed, others have too.

Hopefully, this gets fixed with the next update.

Everythingapplepro on Youtube should report this as well.

Cheers,

Allen
