Build 18A326h downloads but won't install

After downloading the update and I click Update now, I immediately receive a message that states "Installation failed, an error occurred while installing the selected update"

Same here. The odd thing was that the system hung afterwards and after the reboot showed 18a326h as installed. But it kept trying to install the update with immediate errors.

I disabled the beta updates and will wait for the next update to reenable developer releases on that partition.

Same boot problems here with 18a326g and 18a326h on a MacPro6,1.

On my 2014 Mac Mini, the download and installation process appeared to work flawlessly to completion, although it took more than an hour (perhaps because the Mini is slow). But when it was done, About This Mac still says it's build 18A326g, not 18A326h.

I shut the Mini down and then booted it up again. Still 18A326g. But when I ran Software Update in System Preferences again, it claimed that the Mini is up to date and won't let me update again. Very confusing.

Then a minute later UI???Kit quit unexpectedly. I clicked the button to reopen it, and all appears to be ok now except it's still 18A326g.

I left my Mini untouched for about 5 minutes, then I noticed that a "1" badge had appeared on the System Preferences icon in the Mini's Dock. I'm typing this on another Mac as the drama unfolds. I opened the Software Update pane, and it told me that "An update is available for your Mac," and it said it is again "macOS Mojave Developer Beta 3". So I clicked Update Now. It took no time at all to download the update, presumably because it's already downloaded. I let the 60 seconds to automatic restart go by, the Mini restarted, and it again went to the "Installing Software Update" screen. It now says "About 45 minutes remaining." I'll post this, then come back later and report the result.

It worked! And it took only 25 minutes. I am now running macOS Mojave developer beta 3 update 1 build 18A326h.

I wonder if all the trouble we've had was just because too many developers were trying to download update 1 at the same time?

Did mine this morning. No issues. Took a bit more time than usual, but no issues.

Had the same issue. Tried deleting the downloaded update from internet recovery and redownloading. Comparing it to what downloaded on another Mac it was missing some packages. Redownloading it gave the same result.

Solution was to rerun the beta access utility and re-download the full installer. It itnstalled18A326h without any issues.
