Cannot update OTA or using iTunes

I am running the developer beta on both an iPhone X and an iPad Pro. I have been able to update OTA consistently on the iPhone (even beta 7). However, I have not been able to update the iPad since beta 4. Each attempt gives me an error on the download. I then tried to update by download the IPSW file. I am using iTunes on a PC. I connect the iPad and then click "Update" with the shift key held. The window opens to open the IPSW file, which I select. Then after a brief moment the window closes and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to update? I have created a backup of the iPad.

I haven't been able to update to any version past 4. Sent feedback multiple times and have received no help.
Where did you get your IPSW file?

I can't get past v4 on my iPad either. I downloaded the IPSW file from the developer website downloads section.

1. iCloud or iTunes backup

2. Erase all content and settings on the device (settings/general/reset)

3. Restore backup


now you should be able to do everything normally. Worked for me

Realized I was having the same issue on my X. I reloaded the profile and "bam", here comes b8.

What do you mean by "reload the profile?" If you mean delete the profile and re-install, I did that with no fix.

When you re-installed the profile? Did you restart the device after uninstalling it? I know it asks you to restart after installing a beta profile, but restarting after a fresh uninstall is what sometimes helps clear the update cache.

Still nothing. I guess the only solution is to nuke it.

Even a complete reset and restore did not work. I guess I have to hope that the official version will upload. If it doesn't, what can I do?
