My app is in status "Waiting for review" since 22.09.
I emailed yesterday the support and got no reply about it.
1) Has anyone who experienced similar issue got they app ever reviewed just by waiting? Because from what I read it seems after it goes below the norm (1-2) days it gets stuck and there's something wrong.
2) If I reject and resubmit will it get better or worse?

Yes seeing the same, it seems to be a widespread issue according to some other forums , many indie devs reporting the same.
It was 1 or 2 days from "Waiting for Review" to "In Review" for the past few months (disregarding how long In Review might be).
Now I had been waiting for almost a week and still no change from WFR (waiting for review).

We have been in review for over two weeks I have been submitting status requests etc to no avail Our APP the Punters Form Guide is one of the most popular sports Apps with one of the highest ratings in Australia.
Surely this process needs to change we have worked so hard to get our features ready?
Any advice would be really appreciated its causing alot of stress in our office as this is our businesses busiest time of year with our first ever marketing campaign piggy backing this app release.

Are you "Waiting for Review" or "In Review" for two weeks?
We have the same. 10 days in Waiting for Review for all our apps.

I submitted my App (an update) last Tuesday and after a few hours it changed to 'In Review'. It has been in that status for 7 days now. Not sure what is going on but my best guess is they have a ton of work with people updating their apps for iOS12 and the new phones.
It finally got approved. Few hours in review and green light. Total review te since submussion: 12 days. My understanding is that long time in Waiting for review is better than long time In review. If it gets stuck in review most likely there is something wrong and people say in most cases it gets rejected at the end. Did you all try contacting Apple support or asking for expedited review? I feel your pain, I have been there.
Congrats. I will be waiting 2 weeks tomorrow - Tuesday. Sigh. So much for a September update on my game lol
I'm facing the same issue now, and the most interesting thing is that I got approved for an expedited review, but nothing has changed, it is still waiting.
Do you receive any response ? I have same problem with you. waiting for review from 22/09
