After App Review:

Guideline 2.4.5(i) - Performance

We've determined that one or more temporary entitlement exceptions requested for this app are not appropriate and will not be granted:

com.apple.security.temporary-exception.sbpl: (allow iokit-open)

We understand this may prevent the app from being approved for the Mac App Store. We encourage you to investigate other ways of implementing the desired functionality.

My app (sandboxed) just read CPU temperature.

Is there a way to read CPU temperature in the sandboxed app and get my app published on the Mac App Store?

Can someone describe on the high level how it possible implement this in other way?

The same problem with rejection ("allow iokit-open" for CPU temperature and fan speed), any ideas how to solve it?
