I've wriiten a simple app that runs on a single iPad running os9. This app crashed recently because a "Apple Worldwide Developer Relations Certification Authority" needed renewal.
Will this be needed every few years to keep this app alive? It's running on an old iPad because it's free and would be in a landfill if it wasn't being used here.
Is it possible to create an app that is not meant to be distributed and have it just run as long as the hardware functions?
