Beta3: suddenly stuck on white activation screen -> fails to activate -> upon Retry says beta has expired

Hi Guys, fingers crossed that someone has an idea how to address this.

I woke up this morning and my beta 3 iPhone 5 GSM was back on the activation screen after having used in successfully since they day it was released. The white screen was requesting my iCloud username and password. I entered it and it gave this message after trying to activate for 1-2 seconds:

Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple minutes.
If this problem persists, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support

The only button on screen was "Retry" so I tapped it. It then immediate switched to a new message:

iOS Beta Expired
Your iOS Beta has expired. Please perform a device restore. For more information, visit the Service Answer Center at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

There were no buttons.

Next, I connected my phone to iTunes and Option-Clicked the "Check for Update..." button and re-installed the beta 3 firmware. No dice, same results. White screen greeting me, next screen requesting Apple ID credentials, next screen saying ativation is temporarily unavailable, Retry telling me my iOS Beta has expired.

Am I the only one who has hit this? Is there anything else I should try?

Dev Beta two expired today. You clearly stated you're already on 3 though. In the iTunes summary for your iPhone click on "iOS 9.0" to get the build number.

It should be: 13A4293f

13A4293g is hte build number I see on the beta 3 download screen, but i think you're right nonetheless and I accidentally re-installed the beta 2 firmware when I though I was updated to beta 3. Will report back..

Yes, you're right, they quietly changed it to 13A4293g sometime after the initial release (but before I updated to 3) - hence the confusion.

I too had this. What is annoying is that, on checking, the iPhone reported that the software was uptodate right up until this screen went up.

Although it cost me £79, I (re-)registered as a developer, downloaded the Beta 5 and restored through iTunes. The screen went away and all is good again.
