I had updated to Beta2 and had issues so I thought I'd download Beta3. Turns out that one can only download Beta1 (OS X 10.11 (15A178w)) from anywhere (even though it says BetaX). I was told by support that the App store would automatically update me but nothing at all so far--"There are no updates...". Is there a plist somewhere I can modify or delete to get the newest Beta download 15A226f and others going forward?

If you don't see updates in the App Store you need to copy-paste the following command in Terminal to fix what seems to be a fairly common calalog problem:
sudo softwareupdate --set-catalog https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.11seed-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz
And then try refreshing updates in the App Store again.
If that doesn't work (it should though), I can post the direct links for the updates again - that way you'd be downloading them, in order, direct from the CDN.
This latter solution is a manual one though; you won't get automatic updates going forward - you'll have to keep downloading from links posted here.

This worked for me. After running the terminal command, the App Store immediately started showing updated. App Store went through the process of updating to Beta 3, three times in a row, until Beta 4 showed up and updated successfully.
