Xcode Version 11.0 beta Doesn't Run on 10.15 ?

Hi,

We are trying to test Xcode 11 Beta on the MacOS 10.15 Beta and failing every time.


When we launch XCode it launches to the splash screen / menu. If we select a standard function like opening a new playground it crashes.

If we ask it to open an existing project it crashes. Basically it crashes on doing anything other than launching the original menu screen.


Has anybody got it to run on the MacOS Catalina Beta ? Any special steps ?


We are running on VMware Fusion Catalina image. (Fusion 11.1)

Xcode is Version 11.0 beta (11M336w)


Anyone managed to work around this ?

I have the same issue running x-code 11 in a VMware environment so any help would be appreciated.

May not be related but try and download the command line tools for Xcode11 and install them from the downloads section. I had it hang when I was staring xcode but its running now like a champ.

I'm crashing as well. Where did you find the command line tools?

I've got the same problem, but I can't create or open any file:

in example:

  • opening old cpp project just crashes xcode and i can't close it
  • when i create new command line tool it just stops working after pressing button "create"
  • also tried creating swift playground, the same issue


already deleted last xcode and also reinstalled xcode 11, doesn't help, maybe I should delete all files that left from last version of xcode or smth like that?


macos x 10.15, macbook air middle 2012



upd:

i realized i've installed qtcreator 6 months ago, it works great
