Text Tones (iOS 9 bata) won't change
Sounds like a bug. Assuming you're on the Public Beta, it comes with a built-in Feedback Assistant app for filing bugs like these, which can be opened from the second page of the Home screen on your iDevice. You can also send your feedback directly to Apple with Feedback Assistant.
Same here. Filed a bug report for it 🙂
Hi there - I think this is actually a known issue in iOS 9 beta 4, according to the distribution notes. Any attempt to change any tone other than first ringtone, I believe.
Can't even switch back to the default - it's stuck on vibrate., frustrating to say the least.... It also negates tones on my watch when paired... (Consider the fact the Watch doesn't vibrate - big disadvantage).....
So... If known issue - So, it's just A matter of time before they get a resolution ? What was the date of the distro. Note?
Did you get and feed back from your filed bug report?
Hi - this is where I saw the reference to the tones: forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-9-0-beta-4-bug-fixes-and-changes.1902378
This is really frustrating. No response either. Hope they come up with an update soon.
Yea, at this point, if you want this addressed with the next version of the beta, file a report.
Remember you're beta testing so you should expect bugs. Just keep reporting. ✅
Hi it's me again. Several reports sent. I'm sure you guys have done the same as well. Quick fix of you're frustrated about not hearing any messages come in since its on vibrate only is to to "Erase all settings" in the Reset menu in Settings. This will switch back everything to default including the Text tone sounds which is what we addressing today. This will erase all saved wifi passwords as well so think twice. Hope this helps.
