I am on public beta 1 or 2 of MacOS 10.15 Catalina. I want to upgrade to the beta 3 that was released but no matter what I do, my Mac thinks I am not on Catalina at all. It shows upgrade now instead of update now as my option. I am already on Catalina. I have tried resetting the software update plist in preferences and have unenrolled and re-enrolled in both developer and public beta profiles. My Mac will still show the same result. Any ideas on how to fix this? I would need the beta 3 ipsw/img file to override the upgrade in software update from preferences.
Cannot Upgrade to Beta 3
I have the same problem, runnig Catalina beta 1 and 2. Beta 3 tries to do a fresh install and shows an error at end. I am using a Mac Mini 10.15 Beta (19A501i) (Built Late 2012).
I tried the Beta 3 install many times. The errors is shown when I start the Mac after the Installation.
Today, I tried it again. This time the update went through.
I am now on Build number 19A512f
Would you mind sharing what ended up fixing it for you? I have the same issue. Should I hit the "Upgrade Now" button, even though it should say "Update Now"?
