App rejected because of '' 4. 2 Design: Minimum Functionality

Hello guys,

I have android and ios apps want to distribute. The android was successfully accepted. Here is a link

Unfortunately I got the iOS version rejected because of the following reason.(Including here the chat I got with the app store support):

Rejected:

4. 2 Design: Minimum Functionality

We noticed that your app only includes links, images, or content aggregated from the Internet with limited or no native iOS functionality. Although this content may be curated from the web specifically for your users, since it does not sufficiently differ from a mobile web browsing experience, it is not appropriate for the App Store.

My answer:

Hello,
with great respect to you I have to say that I think you are not right regarding your statement.
Please let me explain why.
I do not agree it is web mobile experience. The data is coming from API. The design is native mobile - meaning it is created to be mobile user friendly, easy to use and navigate. At the same time it display all the data user need. We try to keep our UI very simple in order to be more convenient for our user. What you see on the screens are products having 'best deal' offers on the primary supermarkets in our country. I can assure you there is no such app(eighter website) having exactly such a functionality in our country. We have a vertical list with cell items being horizontal list showing all offers to our end users and that is all we want to show to them for our first version. We plan to implement much more functionalities in future, but for now we believe the app will be useful for our users.
Regards.

Their Answer:

Hello,

Thank you for your response. It would be appropriate to add additional native iOS functionality to the application in order to enhance the user’s experience. Specifically, features that enable the user to interact with the app rather than just consume information are recommended.

So my question to you guys is what should I add to my app in order to get approved. For example I plan to add filter by categories(we currently have filter for shops) and also search filter by string. Do you think that would be enough?

Regards.
