I have an unreleased Mac application on iTunes Connect for which I would like to create an In-App Purchase Product. When I created the Bundle, I selected the option to allow In-App Purchases. While I can see my app as "Prepare for submission", I don't have any options relating to In-App Purchase Products. Why am I missing this option?
Missing option to create In-App Purchase
Your question is a bit unclear - where are you looking for the 'option'?
There is a tab at the top of the page for your app in iTunes Connect that is labeled In-App Purchases. That is where you create the IAP. Then you write code in your app to handle requests to/from StoreKit and debug it so it does what you want it to do. Then you add a screenshot on that IAP tab page in iTunes Connect. Then, on the 'versions' tab of your app on iTunes Connect, you can select the IAPs to submit with your binary.
Thanks for the reply. I am indeed looking at the page for my app in iTunes Connect. I've seen screenshots that show the tab labeled "In-App Purchases", but my page doesn't have that tab. Here's a screenshot of what I see: http://i.imgur.com/M3CyqZ8.png
Unless I'm overlooking something, it seems like my app really is missing that tab. I've checked my ad blocker and tried another browser, and I still don't have the tab. Is there any other step necessary to make the "In App Purchases" tab appear? Do I need to submit a binary or something?
Thanks again!
I figured out the problem. I had to agree to the latest paid app contract from the "Agreements, Tax, and Banking" section of iTunes connect. Now I can see the "In-App Purchases" tab. Thanks!
