Help me please, And give suggestion for me .

Thank you .

Install Open JDK 13 via `$ brew cask install java`

Temporarily (WARNING decreases system security) disable Gatekeeper `$ sudo spctl --master-disable`

Run Logisim via the .jar once `$ java -jar /Users/youraccount/Downloads/Logisim.app/Contents/Resources/Java/logisim.jar`

Reenable Gatekeeper `$ sudo spctl --master-enable`

Thereafter launch it via the .jar (as defined above)

The best way to do this is go to logisim in your applications folder then double click to view show package contentes then you see a folder called "Contents" then click the folder "Resources" then "Java" then open the .jar extentiuon file . Yes ! you did open your logisim without any installation of java se 6 on your macos Catlalina. Thank you

Both the answers given are not useful I have tried them now please provide a correct answer .for me it is showing that already there is a new version of java and it can't install in Macintosh HD or in JDK 14.0.2
Please help me out

Hi, I need an answer to this question too, and the previous ones don't work. I would not like to have to migrate to windows because of a software installation.

Awaiting.
@Srikanth23 's answer "The best way to do this is go to logisim in your applications folder then double click to view show package contentes then you see a folder called "Contents" then click the folder "Resources" then "Java" then open the .jar extentiuon file . All you need to do is click on the jar file and change the settings from General>Setting and privacy allowing the jar file to open anyway. Then boom it runs. Hope it helps. I can still answer if there are any further issues, it took me a while too.

Download JDK from oracle.

Then open Logisim.jar as follows:

Logisim>>Contents>>Resources>>Java>>logisim.jar.
"Have a great day!"
First open the package contents (Left click the app that you are trying to open so you can see this option)
Then go to Resources > Java
Finally open the file that is there, usually ends .jar.

That's it, the program should have opened.
I had the same issue. Here’s what I did:

Goto Finder and leftclick Logisim.

At the top of the list you should see ‘open’. Click that.
It will tell you it’s from an unknown developer but it gives you the option to open anyway.

Then open it. It is now saved as an exception to your security settings and you can open it as you would any other app.

hope this helps.
I can't use Logisim on macOS Catalina.
