I have updated my Ipad air 2 to Ios 9 Beta4 and now all sounds except ringtones have been set to default.
And If I try to change the tone for any of the other sounds, the list of different tones comes up but clicking on any of the tones returns me to the home screen and does not change the tone to that selection.
Same issue with my iPhone 6+ updated to ios9 beta 4. IN add'l., Reminders location-based and other Reminders For several Days; will not sound.
But I vibration works as Normal, at least with6 Plus screen open and on,. Don't know whether Vibrates with 6+ Locked;
Last Night;
Tried Correction on 6 Plus by
1. Turning off and on
2. Hard Resets;
3.
changing Sound files;
a. Tried changing to several o9ther sound files; (my usual sound for Reminders was the one that was Still set aftwr upd. to beta 4. ChrystaLS
As this; only sounded the sound for .1 sec., and crashed to Home screen; minimized, but on;. No change to sound file setting;
4.: Changing to to "none" in iOS9 beta 4 Sound Settings for Reminders; Did, change; but wound not change any more; Now set to Vibrate, onlY;
Have same beta on iPhone 5. (iOS9 beta 4.
The iPhone 5 was the first one that was updated to 9; beta 4. Also set to Chrystals Sound file.
Tested adding a Reminder vis Siri just niow; Works fine, Sounds, and Vibrates.
Have not yet Tested (noticed?) specificaLocation-based Reminders on iPhone5;But I did not notice issue while trying 9, beta 4 on 5 for two days, before Jumping 6 PluS;.,/
So won't miss any Location-based Reminders; I' think will use the 5 for a while; ans will Try Restoring ios 9 Backup made before switching 6+ Sound for Remindrs To None.

DiDN'T RESTORE to 8.4 or FROM beta4 BKP

When Agfter upd to 9 bate 4; iTunes Froze for several hours; when Pluged in My Phon5 into Windows XP and Sterted iTunes 12 (latest iT vs.)
Actually; Whole Windows XP CPUU froze for hours;; Had to Turn off switch (Long Press Power) and Reboot.
My iPhone56 also Flroze, for over 1 hr
QUESTION: guess no way to do a 9, beta backup yet in iTunes 12,? IF would somehow Work;
Would I BE abLe to Restore a BKP wo switching back to 8.4 ..?
After Deleting All on iPhone 6+;,. Is it Poss To Restore bets 4 Directly from iCloud wo out going through step of Restoring to 8.4 oS first? Guess not
Some think this is connected to iMessage bug. If you completely close the iMesssage app and try to change the tone, does it still crash?
I do not even have imessages open. But I opened it and closed it ,, no effect on being able to change tone.
