In the latest beta of OS X 10.11, photos has stopped to upload to iCloud library,

has anyone the same problem?

Yeah, sometimes nuking and starting over is the only way forwards 😁

I just tested it from 10.11 Beta 5 (15A235d) and, for me, it's still uploading photos.

Do you have Photos App > Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Photo Library and System Preferences > iCloud > Photos [options] > iCloud Photo Library switched on?

If they're already on, try toggling them off, wait a bit, and then on again.

You might alse have to sign out of iCloud and sign back in again to trigger the automatic uploads.

I have all the setting for iCloud Photo Library switched on.

It uploads 7 or 8 photos and then it stops.

Sometimes it stars again if I reboot, but this trick doesn't work every time 😉

Interesting. Try rebuilding the Photos library:

  1. Quit Photos if it is open.
  2. Hold down the Command and Option keys while you open Photos again.

It should only take a few minutes even if the library is big...

You may then have to trigger the iCloud syncing again by toggling the setting described in my first post.

I've just rebuilt the library but it has started to upload all the photos on the library AGAIN 😕

So I deleted the library, created a new one and now I'm waiting iCloud to download all the stuff

Did rebuilding the library fix this for you?

If not, Beta 6 just arrived, so that's worth trying before anything else.

Max.

No it didn't,

deleting the entire library did! 😉
