Xcode7 SKS files keep crashing when adding sprites or anything!!!

Hi All,

I`m not sure if anybody is trying to use the sks files to edit or construct a scene but I have found it impossible to use. I have add some sprites but when you exit xcode (not quit) re run and return to the sks file the texture for that sprite is missing in the info box to the right.

This is one of many problems I have found. Most so bad that xcode crashes all the time and makes the project you are working on unusable so you have to start again.

This can`t be a Pre-Release version it`s unusable. Bring back Steve Jobs that`s what I say..........

This could be caused by the presence of old runtimes as mentioned in the Release Notes:

Xcode processes may quit unexpectedly if older iOS Simulator runtimes (Xcode 6.x) are present on disk

To see if that's the case (or to rule it out as a cause), delete all (old) runtimes from /Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Profiles/Runtimes.

Hi

The release notes are for

OS X El Capitan

I am on OS X Yosemite is this incorrect ?

No, that may not be relevant for you. However, the Xcode Beta 4 Release Notes do have may workarounds in the Known Issues section that might explain and help with some of the crashes / issues you've been having.

Right, I spent all day yesterday making a new partition on my HD. Installed OX 10.8.0 updated it to OX 10.10.4 then installed El Capitan updated that a couple of times, then installed the latest Xcode 7 Version 7.0 beta 4 (7A165t) open my project and you will never believe what happend !!!! Yes the same crashing problems that I had before.

So as I said before "This can`t be a Pre-Release version it`s unusable. Bring back Steve Jobs, that`s what I say.........."

Maybe I have the wrong type of Mac Pro "Late 2010" 12 core 16 GB ram 4TB HD space and very very hacked off.... (not the computer kind of hacked)
