Hi !
I'm here because I need some clarification about the App Store submission.
I recently submitted my application to the App Store review after several weeks of testing with TestFlight.
My application has been accepted on the App Store, and I indicated that I would like to do a manual release. So my application currently has the status "Pending Developer Release".
However, the launch of my app is in a few weeks and I would like to have a build that is valid on the AppStore and that, whatever happens, will be put online the day my app is launched.
Except that I'd actually like to start making some corrections and slight modifications already!
I would like to know if there is a way to keep my build 1 which, as it has been accepted by the App Store, can be automatically available the day of the launch unless I manage to pass my build 2 on the App Store before the launch.
I have difficulty to express but basically, I would like to be able to release my application with the build 2 that I'm developing now! On the other hand, if my build 2 doesn't pass the app store a few days before the launch, too bad, I make my manual release with the build 1. And I was wondering if this was possible.
Because on TestFlight, there is a whole management of the builds with the possibility to expire builds or to make the users come back on an older version of the app, on the other hand, on the appStore, there doesn't seem to be all this management.
If my build has been accepted by the appStore, if I want to make an update while keeping my previous build (in case the update doesn't pass the review), I have to cancel my already validated build?
I'm sorry, it's really very long, I really have a hard time to explain it in writing! I hope you understood me, don't hesitate to ask me more information!
Thank you in advance for your reading and your future answers,
Kind regards,
Viktor
