Rules to be part of multiple accounts

Hello,

I post here because I wish to have information concerning the creation of multiple developers accounts.

I currently have a developer account for my business in my own name that I operate alone. The owner of a 2nd company will have his own developer account for his company which I will be part of.

If I'm right, the owner of the second company have to create a membership in name of company and every members will be able to use it to connect to itunes to upload and manage games.

So I would like to know in this case:

1. Is this allowed by apple to be part of 2 companies ? I will use the membership of the second company to connect and upload games.

2. Will my own company's account always be completely independent ? (I will not manage the content and management of the second company, and if in the event that a violation of the regulations is committed I want to be sure that my personal account will not be impacted)

3. Can this be a problem if the games types are the same (but content and graphics will be different) as my own company's account ? (I heard it could be considered spam)

In addition to your answer, this could be perfect if you redirect me to official documentation.

Hi,

You should not have any problems with that. App Store Connect has a company switcher at the top right corner, when you click on your name.

AFAIK, Apple is okay if you manage different company accounts. I do not think they would consider that as a spam, as long as you are playing by the set rules and not abusing it.

Thank you for your answer.

The most important for me is to be sure the 2 companies will be independant from each others, because I run my own business, and the other one will not be run by me so I will not have any control on how they manage policy and legislation. In case if any problem comes from the other company then I need to be sure my own account will not be in danger.
