Hello

I am interested if I can i sign a jar file as identified developer if I have an apple developer account?

Best Regards,

Aurelian

Are you suggesting that you want to submit a Java program as an iPhone app? In that case, the answer is NO.

Thanks for your reply.

I am not trying to submit a Java program as an iPhone app.

I want to run a java (jar) program on an mac os system which has the "Run application from apple store and from registered developers" security option for application enabled.

Yes you can. And actually, you have to sigh all the jar files in your application. I use this script:

find /Users/name/Documents//build/distributions/MyApp/Contents/ -type f \( -name "*.jar" -or -name "*.dylib" \) -exec codesign --verbose -f -s $SIGNER --entitlements ~/Documents/Projects/my-app/entitlements.plist {} \;

can i sign a jar file as identified developer if I have an apple developer account?
