I have an app in TestFlight which has gone from "Waiting for review" to "Testing" and my external testers have received an email and notification that the build is available, but tapping on the link takes them to an older build. The newest build is nowhere to be found. I've updated the info.plist for the latest build (and few builds prior) to the following:
App Uses Non-Exempt Encryption = NOhowever, my existing external testers still aren't seeing the most recent builds. What is going on and how can this be fixed?
Some observations for troubleshooting:
- Newly added external users can see the latest build and download.
- Existing external users only see the latest n-1 build i.e. if 0.1.2 is the newest, they only see 0.1.1 and won't see 0.1.2 until 0.1.3 is released.
Seems trivial and extremely redundant to have my testers delete account and resend invite for each new build. Looking through Apple and Stack Overflow forums, this is a common issue since Feb 2020 which still has not been addressed nor resolved by Apple.
