Can't download in Testflight under iOS 9

I submitted my app through iTunes Connect and sent invites to testers.

I get an update on my iPhone 6 (running iOS 9) that a new update is available.

I open TestFlight. App is displayed along with a button that says INSTALL, as usual. I click INSTALL. The Install button changes to the round download status symbol (as usually seen in TestFlight), but nothing ever downloads. It sits in this state forever.

Has anyone else seen this issue? I have triple checked my connectivity, tried using WiFi, etc. but to no end.

As a developer, I'm largely at a stopping point if I can't test with my testers. Would love to hear if anyone else has had/resolved this issue.

Thanks,

Terrence

Hi Terrence,

I haven't had your issue but If I did then the first thing I'd do is contact Apple Developer Support

Actually, calling them is your best bet in my experience - the link includes numbers for many countries.

Max.

Apple have just released a new version of TestFlight (1.2.0) - It might be worth trying it to see if fixes the install issue you've been having:

What’s New in Version 1.2.0

This update adds support for testing upcoming iOS 9 features — including watchOS 2 apps and App Thinning.

Testers can now choose how to receive update notifications for each app they are testing. Also, watchOS 2 beta apps will install automatically when the “Automatic Downloads” setting is turned on in the Apple Watch app.

Minor stability and performance improvements.

Apple has sent developers an email which clarifies that today’s TestFlight update does not yet extend to support external test groups...
