It happened now three times over the last days: suddenly my screen goes black, cursor still visible and I can move it. If I wait the screen comes back again BUT all my start up items open again (and say for the first time)...!
Now what seemed to happen is that I was logged out and then logged in again: my apps are stopped, documents that were not saved lost and all startup items run again. So it looks like a stop and then logging in again.
This started in beta 6 for me.
What does your Console app tell you (look under "all messages") for the 10 seconds or so before the time that the screen goes black?

It seem to happen when I am in an Open dialog, mainly in InDesign CC 2015...
Looks like smd was called to remove something Adobe related in a folder that is protected by SIP, resulting in you being kicked back into login.
Since SIP is preventing something, you can try disabling it by booting into Recovery Mode (cmd+R):
Utilities > Security Configuration > un-tick "Enforce System Integrity Protection"
And reboot normally.
It looks like this is the problem: updates from Adobe Creative Cloud! Id the Creative Cloud is ready with installing this seems to happen.
Will report this to Adobe as well.
Good plan. It's Adobe that will need to alter the way their software updates.
Well... not sure IF this is indeed the cause nor that it is sorted... :-(
Based on the console log, I think it is. Anyway, like you say, give it a day or two and see.

Judging by that console log, SIP is still enabled. Apple have just changed the method of switching it off. You'll need to boot back into Recovery Modeand run the following commands from Terminal (Utilities Menu):
As for it being Adobe related, Adobe has "helper" tools checking for and trying to update software in the background, as well as while running one of their products.
Yes I know, I did disbale and enable it a few times with the Restore boot option. BUT I do not want to disable it! I do need to know what goes wrong however...

Anyone have any idea?
Seems the mrt messages have nothing to do with Adobe but with the MRT Malware program! It should terminate and not touch the com.apple.mrt file - but it does. I have goen into disabled rootles star up, removed the MRT and launchagents like suggested here:

So the crashes in the console are now gone.
But this does not explain why, mostly in Open dialogs from InDesign, the crash/log out/log in with the black screen occurs...
