I absolutely hate that the dock changed on macbook- yosemite !

I didn't notice a change after Yosemite. Did you mean that you don't like the new design for the Dock introduced in Yosemite?

Yes exactly! I miss the way it looked before.

Just updated today. I do not like new Dock.

It used to be clear and unobtrusive and now it has that stupid opaque screen behind it. So let me get this straight... someone thought that making it more obtrusive was the way to go? Talk about a step backaward. Hoping for a fix on that soon.

Just wait 'till they make the iTunes dock icon twice as big as everything else...

There is a fix for this, it's called cdock. Do a google (not bing or yahoo) search for cdock.

You must be new to the platform. The flat design is how things were before Leopard.
