is it possible to distribute different versions of the same app

B2B uses the store, where updates are presented to users via normal notification. At that point, the user can choose to go forward or stay where they are, version wise (assuming there are no other factors, such as an iOS update that forces use of a new version of your app).

Just remember that you can only have one version at a time* in the store, so the latest would be the only one available.

The exception there is where a user has already obtained an earlier version and in that case, they can redownload if certain conditions apply - *this does not mean new users have access to earlier versions.

so B2B is not really helping me here, say my clients are

Company 1 - using version 3

Company 2 - using version 4

Company 3 - using version 4

Company 1 do not wish to get latest but they have a need to install app on another say 100 devices. Since B2B app store at this point has only version 4 what should Company 1 do?

What about case when each of my clients get enterprise development license and we would just bypass the app store by providing the client with the correct version of IPA file that would be copied to client's internal server and distributed that way. Is this approach legal?

You can probably setup an Enterprise App Store, we use Appaloosa-Store for that, you can upload several versions of the same app but only target specific users / groups per version. That might be the solution for you.

I seeing this post is old one but with have a same issue with my company and may be wort cause we are many big version release to keep available depending the client company but also each of this version have many fix bug realease and we cannot just offer the last one of each version.

So my post is like get an update information regarding the way that offer solution in the real B2B life!

As we are not in use app and more than 100 employed we cannot access to the enterprise program! apple don't want! But the Developer program doesn't meet our need and the reality of our client. Our client are public safety agencies using complex ecosystem server solution, and keep update client/server application is out of the avalaible way!

Does appaloosa-store will make us able to do that ? Have you got some tools or way to handle thoses situations (inside our outside tools and apple programs) ? Have you got some advice regarding the way to developed application on the ios witch could resolv thoses kind of issues ?
