join mac program

Our enterprise program started with iOS app development. And now we are trying to build Mac application.

In xcode Preference->Account, under my Apple ID, I can see Agent for iOS, and a flashing "join" button under mac.

If I click on join, it will open up a browser and goes to https://developer.apple.com/programs/

and if I click "enroll" then "start your enrollment", I got an error "Your Apple ID is already associated with a Team Agent enrolled in this program. If you have any questions, contact us."

Why? Does this has to be manually fixed through "contact us"?

Earlier this year, the iOS and Mac development programs were merged into a single, unified Apple Developer Program. The iOS Enterprise Program has also been modified to include the Mac. Anyway, you don't need to enroll again—the developer website says you just need to sign in to the Member Center and accept the new program agreement to gain access to the Mac stuff.

>Does this has to be manually fixed through "contact us"?

It may be that you need create/use another/unique apple ID/logon to get there from here, and then have it associated accordingly, so yes, perhaps a contact effort is in order.

That, or call 'em up:

That's not what the developer website seems to indicate. There's a paragraph about the changes to the enterprise program at the bottom of https://developer.apple.com/support/transition/. It says,

Your account has been automatically updated to the Apple Developer Enterprise Program, which also includes development resources for Mac apps. To access development resources for Apple platforms, your Team Agent will need to sign in to Member Center and accept the new program license agreement. Your membership expiration date, number of Technical Support Incidents, and member roles have not changed.

>That's not what the developer website seems to indicate.

I agree, but - 'access to resources', and being able to submit apps to the store are not the same thing?

You don't even need a paid account to test on your own device now...

In any case, the process doesn't seem to be working for the OP, so talking to Apple might move things along.
