The phone number must be in a valid format

I'm about to create a new release in itunes connect. When saving the new release i get a message that "The phone number must be in a valid format". I haven't changed the phone number and I've also tried changing the formatting in several ways so i guess this must be a bug. I also saw this issue occured back in august, maybe it hasn't been fixed properly?

OK. It seems the problem is Apple wants the number to match exactly the format of the user location. So, you not only need to provide the proper country code but the proper prefix for your area, province or state if any.



Once fixed, I was able to save normally.

Must include the country code with the plus sign followed by your phone number. So basically +(country code)(your phone number) in this format.
