10.11 GM is out...Sept 30th release date

Just downloaded the supposed 10.11 GM seed, and what came down from the store was 15A263e instead of the 15282b the GM seed link indicates. Then, the download link was pulled with "Coming soon..."

Naturally, after I had already installed. Ugh.

No sign here via Update.

I didn't download it yet, but it basically opened my App Store and put it in my purchases. The purchases says "OS X 10.11 Developerment Beta" and it's dated Sept 9th. But I'll wait until the download page is up again and see if I can get the correct version.

But anyone else find it odd they didn't talk about it one bit in the event today?

They just re-released it as an official GM canodate. Redeem the new code to download it. I'm doing so as you read this.

Thats what I had the first time, but I still got re-wound, so I let the app store re-update to developer beta 8, and now I'm trying to download the GM again (after successfully, as in it didn't complain I had already redeemed it, redeeming the voucher again).

The one i downloaded from Mac App Store (in the Purchased section) says OS X El Capitan GM Candidate. When i looked at the info.list file, this is the version:

<string>15A283</string>

Yep, it's just shown up for me too.

But unfortunately for me, it won't install. It just restarts my Mac.

Second download attempt worked for me, About box shows Version 10.11 (15A282b) (Note no beta reference in there anymore). barring no emergency updates I believe this should be what becomes the official release at the end of the month.

Having issues here as well that I never had. Can't create a usb drive with createinstallermedia and simply double clicking the installer it restarts and then says I have a mismatch between the MBR and GUID partition maps is not supported with this operation.

Perhaps these errors are why the installer is failing:

Slow and laborious install but my late 2012 iMac now has 15A282b. I had to force shut down after an age, as Restart was stuck. After install, Password would not enter, then I remembered an earlier build where unplug/plug USB was necessary. Obviously using wired keyboard.
