Anyone Notified of Developer Kit Selection?

Same here, neither confirmation nor rejection. Oh well, congratulations to everyone who got the confirmation email!

I'm still waiting in hope I've been selected as I haven't got an email yet.

I've spent the last six months designing an Apple TV experience assuming Apps would come - it's awesome they have.

If anyone from Melbourne, Australia got one, and would be happy to test, please let me know!

how were people told about this? how did it all come about? yes, we are on a remote island and did not hear anything about this till today.

is there anyone on kauai that is receiving the hardware that is willing to share occasionally?

we have been working lhe last year on a project for appletv and would like to test it.

For anyone that was selected, does it show up somewhere in your dev profile? I haven't received a selection letter OR a rejection letter and am worried that google ate one of those.

No there is nothing posted on your profile. Apple sent out emails enviting developers

to signup for the chance to get one. Those signups ended on the 11th or 12th. Notification

was to be the 14th and was.

No i know, I signed up, my buddy did too and got a basically a condolense letter last night. I didn't recieve anything and was curious if there was another way to check to see if you were selected.

Check you spam folders, other than that, sorry no. If you didn't recieve the email with link to

purchase, you weren't selected.

I wonder if some developers were accepted immediately and got the Yes email and some were rejected immediately and got the No email. Those of us who got neither one may still be on the Maybe list in case any of the accepted developers don't order their Apple TV kit after all. Hope so!

Based on how this has shaken out so far, it seems Apple waited until the 14th to pick and notified

those selected throughout the day. I've not heard of anyone getting picked before that date. Personally,

I didn't get my yes email until around 11:30 a.m. pacific time.

They are still selecting. I just received my "you've been selected" email about 10 minutes ago.

Same here. Now I'm wondering if the fact that I didn't get any Email means that I was on a waiting list of sort.

I've been selected (Melbourne, Australia), with a few apps on the store for both my company and clients.

Not sure of the criterion used.

However, I've placed the order and now hoping that it gets delivered before the weekend. I was worried that it's stuck in "Processing" state over the past couple of days and no signs of any activity on my bank account.

Checking on it today it appears to be "Preparing for Shipment" so that looks promising.. Excited!

Mine is supposed to be here by friday the 18th so, don't take the processing messages to

seriously. Mine said 21-23rd until it switched to shiped. Sadly, now I have to go out and

buy a new TV:)

Speaking of TVs - while both of the monitors connected to my Mac are also HDMI capable TVs, the bigger screen is in another room. Unless Wi-Fi Xcode testing magically returns, I'm going to be shuttling the little black box for a while, I guess. Anyone working on a "FindMyRemote" app?
