Carddav woes...

Has anyone been able to get Carddav working properly in any of the El Capitan beta releases? This fucntionality seems to have been broken since the early beta releases and still is non-functional from my experience all the way up through the GM release. My experiences are specific to Owncloud, but the problem has been consistent even after checking all system settings and also deleting and re-creating the same account. The error I consistently run into states:

"The operation couldn't be completed. (CoreDAVHTTPStatusErrorDomain error 405)"

The error message is fairly cryptic and is not something I have been able to resolve from an end-user perspective. Connectivity to the carddav server works fine under earlier formal releases of OS X so I am guessing this is an on-going issue tied to the beta release. The address book has connected enough in the last couple of of beta releases that I can get an initial download of the CardDav data, but I cannot get subsequent connections to work properly (as in editing a contact card).

Do other's continue to have this same problem and, if so, has anyone found a reasonable work around? Thanks.

We're having the same issue as well on users with 10.10.5 and 10.11

With a GM public release in 2 weeks I hope we see a push/fix with a GM-V2.

Same Problem here with Owncloud and Baikal Server ... Caldav runs fine but no sync with carddav. Same error as above

I got the ame problem since I installed El Capitan.

After the installation it started by duplicating my addressbook entries when I tried to change a fields entry.

I first thought it was a problem of my Lion Server (Mac mini) so I did any repair actions including a complete cache rebuild on this machine.

After that I deleted the server account in "System Preferences" -> "Internet-Accounts" and set it up again.

The problem now changed: Addressbook.app now refuses any connection to the Mac OS X Server with an error 405.
