iTunes show none of my apps

Used a new hard drive to install 10.11 GM. When I start iTunes, and log in with my Apple ID, plug in my iPhone, there are NO APPS in iTunes. iPhone is fine however "My Apps" is blank?

So I guess the right aswer is to copy over your old iTunes Folder. However if that folder is no longer available, I don't understand how you "initialize itunes" according to what's on your phone rather than whats in the cloud.

Anyone else see this. New install of iTunes and no My Apps showing up?

Hi again 🙂

This might be related to the recent change in iTunes policy not to manage iOS app purchases from iTunes going forward (iOS 9 and beyond), as noted by the following response from Apple Developer Relations after a similar issue to the one you describe was reported as a bug:

This issue behaves as intended based on the following: Apps are no longer transferred from iOS 9 devices. We are now closing this bug report. If you have questions about the resolution, or if this is still a critical issue for you, then please update your bug report with that information.

So you can't update your apps any longer through itunes on your mac, is this correct?
