"Apps with long names may cause issues"

I uploaded my first app for review. I received the following message back: "Apps with long names may cause issues - We recommend that app names don’t exceed 64 characters.".

However, my app name is 10 characters long.

I am not sure which fields in the setting is generating this alert.

Any hints?

Thanks

Ghassan

I'm getting this too in xcode 7.1 beta 2 after submitting to ITC. My app name is kinda long at 33 characters, but still well under 64.

App name in meta data or bundle display name in the project? Are they both only 10 chars each?

Same here.

My app name is 7 char long (one word) both in info.plist and iTunes connect.

I don't understand what is wrong ?

Edit - Add warning messages below:

The archive passed validation with several warnings.

WARNING ITMS-90127:"Apps with long names may cause issues. We recommend that app names don't exceed 64 characters."

Been seeing this problem since August.

Filed radars and support tickets on it.

I haven't seen it myself since mid-September, but support claimed they resolved it last month. It appears that all sorts of issues related to iTunes Connect have regressed recently. Processing times are certainly spiking back up agagin.

It's the same for us. App has a name with 28 characters and the issue "Apps with long names may cause issues" is the only warning we receive on uploading the Apple TV BUILD to ITC.

It would be nice if that was fixed, because if you don't know that it's a fault, you're looking for the cause for nothing.
