metadata rejected - submit for review or not

Hi all

My app got a "metadata rejected" status followed by some questions posted in the Resolution Center from the App Review Team. At the end it states something along the lines of "after replying to the questions they can continue with the review". I've replied to their questions via the Resolution Center but I'm confused as to whether to click on the "Submit for Review" button or just wait for their reply (it has been 3 days already).

The documentation states that you should click on "Submit for Review" button but having read some posts (not in this forum) about being put back in review queue if you do click on it, I'm very hesitant to do this. The App Team's message in the resoluton center did not explicity state I had to do this.

So can anyone be so kind to provide a definitive answer to whether I should "Submit for Review" again as there does not seem to be one in this forum?

Kind Regards

Si

You should click "Submit for Review".

Accepted Answer

You should click "Submit for Review".

Thanks - very nervously followed your advice. I'm going to be in such much trouble if the app loses its place in the queue. Either way I'll keep everyone know the outcome.

After clicking on "Submit for Review" my app got approved within 24 hours which more or less proves you DO NOT get put back at the end of the review queue. Thanks PrinceCreed.

So many miss informations in the net, I decided to click "Submit for review" after providing additional info in resolution center after reading this post but then I found article in the net whre someone wrote that he clicked "Submit for review" and had to wait next 10 days... I am so confused right now.

Can someone from Apple review team confirm which behaviour is valid in this scenario to clear?

I can't wait next week just because something was unclear :/

[EDIT]

I wrote response in resolution center and wait 1 day, then I decided to click "Submit for review" after reading this post.

any one who would like to read response from Apple Review Team about this topic please read this post:

Please check your email, Apple clearly replied that you don't need to resubmit your App.
Resubmit Your App

Sometimes, we just need some additional information about your app, or your app's metadata needs to be edited. If this is the case, you don't need to resubmit your app. Simply make the changes and send us a message in Resolution Center when you're done.
