I have question regarding an app and the usage of it on the apple watch.
I want to make an iphone app which is free to install on the iPhone but has to be paid for if you use it on your apple watch.
How can I accomplish that? Through an In-App purchase?

You can use IAP to make the app have 'enhanced' features when used on the watch. For basic iOS programming reasons, before the IAP is purchased the app must still be able to be installed on the watch because you can't use IAP to 'allow installation'. This begs the question - how many features must an app have on the watch before the IAP is purchased to avoid being rejected because it is useless. That question has not been answered. Perhaps all you need is a pretty picture and a button. When the button is presseed it says 'buy the IAP to.....'.
