Yes. I got one. Check your spam folders. Mine landed in spam(gmail). I think they are picking from the previously signed up developers.

No, no new email

Yes. I received that email this evening.

Yes, I got one as well. Congrats!

Where is the link for registration? Can you post it?

We did not have to register again.

any ways to register?

So if we missed out on registering our interest the first time, we're not gonna get a second chance? 😟

Probably not. It's cool to have the hardware in advance but, if you aren't developing for the platform

already, it's wasted time and gear. It's great that Apple has done this but, it isn't for those who just

want to play with the new hardware/software.

I missed out on the second wave as well unfortunately. Perhaps I have better luck in the third wave? ;-) Else I will just wait till it get's released.

I do like to comment on RLKingSoftware:"but, it isn't for those who just want to play with the new hardware/software"

Yes I agree if meant in the litereal way, just play and explore the device and just leave it with that, that would indeed be a big waste. On the other hand, if with play you mean experiment, I think it's really important. Playing is truly the beginning of creating something innovative and fun. You might not even create an app yourself but the experimenting alone can also bring a platform forward as it can inspire others. I do think the new AppleTV will be a great platform for casual games and I've been waiting for this since Steve Jobs announced the AppleTV as a hobby project. If you truly combine all the technologies at hand especially with CloudKit, amazing stuff can be build.

Got selected! Thanks Apple!

Does this version of the Apple TV dev kit come with a USB C to USB A cable or do I need to buy one seperately? I know the first wave did come with the cable.

See this quote from the email and website:

"Apple TV Developer Kit

Includes the new Apple TV, Apple TV Remote, Power cord, Lightning to USB cable, and documentation.

USB-A to USB-C cable recommended (sold separately)."

These kits do not contain a USB A to C cable. You will need to purchase one separately.

I had registered/tried the first time and didn't make the cut. I did not get this second email.

And this is required? Since we need to flash the firmware to use the Apple TV in the first palce, correct?
