My app Find it: Battles is rated 4+ becuase the game has none of the criteria that make the rating for a older age group. However, I want it to display ads during gameplay. Will this rating prevent my app from being able to show ads through iAd? If so, am I able to change this rating so ads would work?

No, that rating won't prevent advertising. My app is also rated 4+ and iAd is working great 🙂 I think I read somewhere that if app is rated for kids, then advertising won't work.
