(Processing)

Anyone experiencing the problem as titled ? The ipa has been uploaded to appstore for about 2 hrs and didnt change its status, keep showing "(Processing)"

We will never know. This questioned has been asked and pondered upon and kept many a developer up at night awaiting the process of their hard-worked on creations. This will continue because it would make us happy if it ceased.

Not just you. Yesterday, we got a nastygram from Apple saying that we submitted things out of order. By the time Apple finished processing the build from yesterday morning, we had already submitted two more builds. It took eight hours for their servers to process that first app submission from the middle of the morning. The next two builds that day took about three hours each. We've been averaging three hours apiece since just before iOS 9 came out, which is simply inexcusable.

Worse, one of those builds was identical to the previous build except for the build number. I submitted it because the previous build had not made process after more than three hours, so I assumed that it never would. And unfortunately, I can't just sit back and assume that they'll eventually get processed, because they often don't. At one point late last night, we had eight builds stuck in "Processing", some of which were as much as three weeks old. The only conclusion I can come to is that Apple's server infrastructure is so hopelessly overloaded that some submissions are getting dropped on the floor entirely.

This severe infrastructure deficiency on Apple's part means that we can no longer rely on Apple to provide support for internal beta testing. With an eight hour processing delay, any changes that engineering makes during the day can't be tested through TestFlight until the next business day. If our test cycles had to lag an entire work day behind engineering, nothing would ever get done. Fortunately, we can also test through Crashlytics, which we're increasingly relying on as a more robust alternative to Apple's underpowered, aging infrastructure.

As far as I'm concerned anything more than about a five minute average processing time is unacceptable. By my math, Apple needs 50–100 times as much server horsepower as they currently have. Someone clearly dropped the ball here, and this infrastructure needs to be vastly expanded yesterday.

I've already written to Apple complaining about the slow processing times. I would encourage you to do the same. And file a Radar. Make sure they fully understand just what a nightmare this problem is becoming for developers.

My App for some reason also now says "Processing" for more than an hour. No idea what the problem is. Did not happen last week.

Any information from Apple on that topic?

3 builds stuck on "Processing" since last night 9pm, its now 10am so yeah, 13(!!!) hours an still nothing.

My numerous (I've tried everything I could think of) builds are stuck in processing for more than 10 days now...

Mine cleared after 12 hours.

Cleared this morning, dont know why this took so long but now i'm relieved

Mine too. Two days and counting... (3 binaries waiting).

**** this ****
