We are able to install our app from testflight, but when I click on 'Open' within testflight after install, the app starts loading and then get grey screen. If instead, after installing, go to the icon on the home screen and click on it, App works fine.
Our app got rejected by Apple few times for the same reason. They are seeing grey screen.
Any ideas, whats the difference between launching app using 'open' in testflight ( or appstore) VS clicking on my app icon on home screen.

Try performing an ad-hoc install, instead - they tend to more closely replicate a store install, so that may at least be more realistic in the long run.
ad-hoc works great in house. We have been using that for weeks and never had problems.
When we submitted the final app for AppStore submission they rejected saying they are getting the grey screen. And the only way we were able to recreate that problem is to test the AppStore install using testflight. Thats when we found this behavior of 'open' from testflight vs clicking on our app icon after install from springboard(home screen).
Did you ever find an answer to this? I'm stuck with the same problem.
