Re-Submit and In App Purchases (IAP) when App was rejected

Hi all,

my app got rejected and so the corresponding In App Purchases got rejected, too.

I updated the description text so now the IAP is in status "In Review".

The app status is "In Vorbereitung zur Übermittlung" (should be Prepare for submission in english) since I attached a new Build (same version number 1.0.0).

Now I'm a little bit confused about the In App Purchases.

I can't attach them again to the binary (as I did before when I submitted the now-rejected-version)

Now I'm not sure what to do (The existing forum topics didn't help me):

- Do I have to wait for the results of the IAP review first before I can resubmit the app?

- Does the version know that there are corresponding In App Purchases and I can click the "Submit" Button (as mentioned, I kept the version number and selected a new build)?

- Or do I have to delete all IAP and add new ones (with new IDs)

Thanks for any advice!

Sascha

A new build should never have the same version number as a previous build. Expect a delay until the knots are corrected. You may have to contact Apple directly in that case.

And as for IAP, you may want to move your query to the In-App Purchase forum.

Everything is ok. You can use the same version number since the earlier version was not approved. You have advanced the build number. By 'changing' anything on the IAP you have refreshed them as needed. They remain attached. Good luck! Addendum - the IAP forum would have been better. Using Version 1.1 would have been better.

Thanks!

OK, you're both right. I should have increased the version number and will do so next time.

"Everything is OK" sounds great. I will push the button 😉 and move the topic.

Thanks and regards

Now you know - good luck w/your apps going forward.

For clarity - there is no need to advance the version number. Using the particular version number "1.0" is unwise as certain types of sandbox receipt testing can be problematic since all receipts are labeled "1.0".

Update: App is now waiting for Pending Developer Release!

Thanks again!

Thanks for the update and good luck in the store.
